Skin

I recently logged onto Mohawk's website to get a taste of what big art projects their paper was used for and how successful it printed. Mark Mcarty's Skin is the perfect candidate. The exhibit was called Skin: Mark McCarty Photographs, and was at the Opalka Gallery of the Sage Colleges in Albany, New York from October 30 to December 11, 2011. The images were meant to be seen at least life-size, exposing every unique imperfection, pore, scar and follicle of the subject. The final production was printed by Benchemark Printing in Schenectady on Mohawk Navajo, an "Inxwell" paper described as a "super-bright, super-smooth surface that allows super-detailed photo reproduction."
